Biography
The journey for Jessica Ditzel began in the middle class, with her father being a music composer and guitarist and her mother being a homemaker. She quickly progressed from a small Texas town to a successful life in California, guided by fate at every turn.
She was born on July 18, 1975, to a small-time country musician and guitarist, Jeff Conrad Ditzel, and his wife, Donna Zeimer Ditzel, in Sugar Land, Texas, United States. Jessica grew up alongside her sister, Trinity Ditzel, in a family well abreast with the concept of entertainment. Her exposure to such imbibed a longing desire for Hollywood in her.
She first had a thirst for the “sugar rush” – the American life, before relocating to Houston at the age of 12, where her father’s passion and love for music radically influenced her into the entertainment industry. Jeff would sometimes parade his musical instruments in her presence while relaying basic knowledge about them to her.
Jessica Ditzel stands at 5ft 10 inches/178 cm/1.78 and weighs 146 lbs.
Education
Jessica started her academic venture in a local school in Texas before advancing to Colorado for her high school education which she obtained from Doherty high school. Following her exit from Doherty high school, Jessica enrolled in the California State University, Long Beach, where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre and Arts.
Career
Though she had taken the first step in her thousand miles journey into Hollywood by obtaining a degree in Theatre Arts, climbing up the ladder of success had proven to be more difficult than envisioned. She worked minor roles in odd jobs, such as doubling down as a cocktail waitress in several nightclubs and bars in California before landing a modeling gig with a Korean brand named Wholesome.
Jessica had spent the early years of her adulthood working in different career paths. Her job as a waitress wasn’t the only quirky endeavor she undertook. She served Volvo as a product analyst and worked as a management assistant for Rent-A-car before becoming an account executive in California for Robert Half Technology – a global human resource consulting firm.
Relationship status
Before her marriage to Joe Rogan, Jessica Ditzel had a swing with Keven ‘Dino’ Conner, an American Vocalist and the founder of the notorious R&B crew, H-town, that comprised Solomon “Shazam” Conner and Darryl “G.I.” Jackson. Their relationship, however, was short-lived, as it ended abruptly in the year 2000. Though their affair was terminated and buried in the past, their estrangement did not discount the reality that they both had a future together. Jessica conceived for Keven and mothered Kayja Rose, their first daughter, in 1996.
After their breakup in 2000, Keven met his unfortunate end after being involved in a ghastly accident on January 28, 2003.
Following reports administered by the Houston Police dept, Texas, Conner died while being conveyed to a local hospital. He had boarded a vehicle driven by his then-heavily pregnant partner, 22-year-old Teshya Rae Weisent, when an SUV, running a red light, rammed into their car – first crushing his girlfriend to death and then leaving 28-year-old Conner wounded and mildly concussed. The incident that had transpired was purported to be extremely disturbing that the people in the SUV, all three, fled. However, one of them, Juan Diaz, was apprehended and held guilty under the charges of a felony; for failing to render aid when required the most.
In 2001 while serving as a cocktail waitress in a local bar in California, she crossed paths with Joe Rogan, who mainly appeared often in her place of work. After their first encounter, they spent the next eight years together before getting hitched in 2009.
Their marriage had blossomed over the years in love and harmony while fruitfully multiplying their household; when asked what their routine was, Rogan blurted out in an interview with rolling stone saying his wife lets him do what he wants to do:
“She lets me do whatever I do. That’s how we get along well. She doesn’t f**k with me. A prenup? Of course. I’m ridiculous and dumb, but I’m not stupid.” Then he’s thinking about his kids for a moment. “You know what? Porn and strip clubs seem so different to me now. They’re not out. But they just don’t seem the same. Having kids just ruined it.”
Rogan
Over the cause of their 13 years of marriage, Jessica has been able to mother three children in total, her first daughter from her previous entanglement, who is 27, and a well-to-do artiste, Kayja Rose, and two of her girls from her marriage with Rogan: Rosy (2010) and Lola (2008).
Musician Daughter
Jessica’s only child and daughter with the late Keven Connor, Kayja Rose, followed in the footsteps of he father. After her father passed away when she was 7, Kayja was raised alone by her mother, Jessica, and was later adopted into the family of Joe Rogan in 2009 when Jessica got married to Joe.
In 2013, Kayja Rose drew attention to herself by sharing short clips of herself passionately singing online. In 2017, she took her passion further, releasing a five-track R&B EP called Tipsy. The aspiring singer has since released several singles like “Mental,” “Submission,” “Reborn,” and “Selfish.” Inspired by her father’s R&B style, she dropped her modern R&B track “One-sided” in 2020, followed by “Breathless Over You,” an 80s synth-inspired song. Her distinctive approach sets her apart from her father’s traditional Houston R&B style, and Jessica is proud of her.
Net worth

In 2018, Joe and Jessica purchased a new home in California for almost $5 million. In 2020, they moved into a new house they bought in Texas for $14 million.
