On 22nd July 2022, the wheelchair-famous entertainer cum dancer Chelsie Hill announced her first pregnancy with her husband, Jay Bloomfield. She quoted that she was 15 weeks pregnant with her first child.
She broke the news recently when she was being interviewed before the start of their main event, The Rollettes, the 10th annual disability empowerment event in Los Angeles.
Chelsie Hill is a pro dancer and the founder of the wheelchair dance team The Rollettes.
The paralyzation of her leg was due to the accident she was involved in, which was around 2010 when she was just 17 years of age.
After the horrible occurrence, people thought she could not venture into anything positive again as she had lost her leg. But, against all odds, she channeled her energy toward greatness and into something positive. That was how she founded “The Rollettes,” a wheelchair dance team that gives images, helps promote people with disabilities, and, most importantly, empowers them with their dancing talent.
In one of the many speeches she had given, she said, and I quote:” It’s a really special weekend for us.”
“I’m thankful for all the ups and downs because it got us to where we are today.”

Despite being paralyzed, Chelsie managed to walk down the aisle using leg braces and a walker to surprise her husband.
Chelsie got married in September 2021. She had talked about how she had dreamt of walking down the aisle as a bride; she said:
“I want to stress that there’s nothing wrong with sitting down in your chair.”

“But for me growing up, I always imagined myself walking down the aisle.”

In May, Chelsie and Jay Bloomfield went on a trip to Las Vegas, where they knew they would welcome a new family member soon.
After missing her period, Chelsie decided to go for a pregnancy test, and alas! She was pregnant. They were both shocked and equally excited.
Jay, the soon-to-be father, said:
“It was an awesome way to find out.”

He also added:
“I have been looking forward to being a father for a while, so I’m looking forward to everything, except that I’m scared but still excited.”

Despite the too many turmoils faced by Chelsie, she remained focused, determined, and hoped for the best.
The pro dancer said:
“Reaching this point in life feels like a dream come true.”
