Janeane Garofalo was born in Newton, New Jersey, USA, on September 28, 1964. Her parents are Carmine Garofalo (father) and Joan Garofalo (mother).
Unfortunately, Garofalo lost her mother, Joan, to cancer in 1998. Joan used to work as a secretary at Conoco-Phillips (a petrochemical company) before she died. Her father, on the other hand, used to work as an Exxon executive.
In terms of Garofalo’s educational background, she attended Madison High School, Madison, NJ, before being transferred to James E. Taylor High School in Houston, Texas.
