High School Career
During his freshman and sophomore seasons from 2018 to 2020, Jett went to NSU University School. Then, from 2020 to 2022, he transferred to IMG Academy for his junior and senior seasons.
Jett’s brother Jace played with him (Jett) at NSU University in both his junior and senior seasons from 2018 to 2020. Jett and all his brothers, along with Taylor Hendricks, Scottie Barnes, and Vernon Carey Jr., played together and defended the University team FHSSA Class 5A State championship successfully from 2018 to 2019.

In his freshman season, Jett played for the Michigan Wolverines, which began on November 7, 2022. He has a 75–56 win over Purdue Fort Wayne. he contributed a total of 21 points in his debut, which made him become the first Wolverine to make his debut with 20 plus points, coming in behind Jamal Crawford’s 21 on November 19, 1999.
