Katie Ventrone Biography
Katie Ventrone hails from Massachusetts. She did not come from a family with football history, but her marriage to Bubba Ventrone introduced her to the world of football, and it has become something she loves. As a fast learner, she picked up the pace right from the day she met Raymond in 2005.
Most of what is known about Katie starts from her marriage to Raymond Bubba Ventrone. We do not have information about her biography, family, or even siblings. When I do, I will update this article accordingly.
However, Katie studied education as a major.
Katie Ventrone Children
Katie is a mother to three wonderful kids as s result of her union with Raymond Ventrone. She had her first child, Ava, in August 2009 when her husband was cut from New England Patriots for the second time after New York Jets.
She and her husband had just gotten married and did not expect to be on the move to Cleveland for the Cleveland Browns. But they had to move quickly with Ava, who was around five weeks old then. The couple stayed in a hotel for six months due to the impromptu movement. Ava lived and breathed football, following her father to every training session with New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. She has the potential to become an athlete like her father.
Katie’s second daughter, Eva, was born in 2011 when her husband served as Special Teams Captain for the Cleveland Browns. Her first son and third child, Major, was born in 2015. By this time, Raymond had already retired from playing in the NFL after his time with the San Francisco 49ers ended. He had been the special teams captain for the 49ers during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Major did not get to watch his father play in the field, unlike his siblings, and Raymond wished he did. As of the time Major was born, the New England Patriots announced that they had hired Bubba Ventrone as a special teams assistant coach. However, Katie’s son is into football and has memorized every NFL team.
Katie Ventrone Marriage
Katie is happily married to NFL coach Raymond “Bubba” Ventrone, who was once a rookie with the New England Patriots but now serves as the assistant head coach and special teams coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.
She married Raymond in 2007 after first meeting him in 2005 in Boston. Her marriage to Raymond introduced her to the busy world of an NFL player who could receive a drafting call anytime. She has managed to move their family of five from Boston (the base of the New England Patriots) to Indianapolis and now to Cleveland, where her husband is currently serving.
When asked how she manages to hold things together in her home, she said:
We just make moments count. The time that we do get as a family, it’s that much more meaningful. You cannot take family time for granted. Likewise, you can’t take time in the NFL for granted.”

Katie Ventrone Husband
Katie’s husband, Raymond Ventrone, began his football career in 2001 during his college days at Villanova University. His professional career in the NFL started with the New England Patriots as a rookie. Over ten years, he played for the New England Patriots, New York Jets, a short stint back with the Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and finally, the San Francisco 49ers.
His coaching career began on March 3rd, 2015, with the New England Patriots, followed by a position with the Indianapolis Colts, and then with the Cleveland Browns on February 24, 2023.
Raymond was raised in Pittsburgh in a working-class union family with two siblings. His younger brother, Ross Ventrone, is a football safety who was released with an injury settlement during his second stint with the Steelers.
Coaching an NFL team and keeping the home together would not have been possible for Raymond if not for his wife, Katie. She allows him to focus on football while she takes care of the kids, packs the bags if the family has to move, and settles in a new city where her husband is called to serve.
