When your dad’s one of Britain’s most successful comedians, you could easily coast on that legacy. But Mollie Evans? She’s carved out her own separate path entirely. The 31-year-old daughter of comedy legend Lee Evans went from working on Disney blockbusters to becoming an award-winning advocate for disability rights in gaming. She is known for her trademark, permanently blue hair, and online handle “littlemotac.”

Biography

Mollie Evans was born on December 6, 1993, in the United Kingdom. She’s the only child of comedian Lee Evans and his wife Heather Nudds, who married back in September 1984. The family lived in Billericay, Essex, where Lee and Heather still reside today.

Lee actually named his production company “Little Mo Films” after Mollie’s childhood nickname.

Her paternal grandparents are Dave and Shirley Evans, and she has an uncle, Wayne Evans, and a cousin, Maxwell Evans.

Mollie’s educational journey took her across the Atlantic to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. From 2012 to 2016, she studied there, initially pursuing Digital Film before switching to Illustration during her sophomore year and earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She wasn’t just about the books either. Mollie got involved with the Ringling College Quidditch Club and Student Government Association, making the most of her university experience.

She’s currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws at The Open University, a programme she started in February 2021 and expects to complete in June 2027. On top of that, she completed a CPD Certification in Equality and Diversity from CPD College in October 2022. The law degree shows she’s thinking about the bigger picture when it comes to advocacy and disability rights.

Her Famous Father

Lee John Martin Evans, born February 25, 1964, is one of Britain’s most beloved comedians and actors. His energetic, physical comedy style made him a household name, and his 2011 Roadrunner tour alone brought in a massive £12.9 million. He’s appeared in Hollywood films like There’s Something About Mary and Mouse Hunt, and he’s even voiced characters in productions like Dinotopia.

Lee has chosen family over fame. In November 2014, he announced his retirement from stand-up comedy on The Jonathan Ross Show, telling host Jonathan Ross he was “frigging knackered” and that it was the end. At 50 years old, he wanted to spend more time with his wife and daughter, especially after the death of his close friend and manager, Addison Cresswell, in December 2013.

“I have said to her ‘I am really sorry, I am always away,'” Lee explained during the interview. “Every single week I have been doing plays. I have had to say to my little Mo, ‘I can’t go to the school play as I’ve got to do this work.’ But now I can be with little Mo and do the things that we never did when we were kids.”

At the time, Mollie was studying at a university in Florida. Lee’s decision meant he could finally be present for those everyday moments he’d missed. His last show took place at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on November 30, 2014.

Since retiring, Lee has maintained an incredibly private life. His first public appearance in roughly five years came in July 2023 when photographers caught him dining with Heather at The Delaunay restaurant in London’s Covent Garden. With an estimated net worth between £30 and £40 million, Lee appears content with his retirement, and there are no plans for a 2025 comeback tour.

Career

Mollie’s professional journey started in the film industry, working on some projects. She began as a Film Runner in 2016, which led to work on major Disney productions. At MPC (Moving Picture Company), she spent about ten months as a VFX Production Assistant, contributing to:

Tim Burton’s live-action Dumbo (2019), where she helped bring the beloved elephant to life through visual effects. Jon Favreau’s groundbreaking CGI version of The Lion King (2019). She even worked on animation production specifically for The Lion King.

Before that, she’d done work experience at Warner Bros. Entertainment in 2015, helping with visual effects for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She also had a short stint as a Runner at Glassworks.

But Mollie’s career took a significant turn towards content creation and advocacy. Since January 2018, she’s been building a multi-platform presence under her handle “littlemotac.” Her Twitch channel, which was created over 13 years ago, reached an all-time high of 2,118 concurrent viewers in July 2023. She maintains Twitch Affiliate status and streams upwards of 5 times per week when she’s active, focusing primarily on Overwatch and FPS games.

Since March 2022, Mollie has worked full-time as a Content Team Member at NNESAGA LTD, a multi-award-winning UK gaming media organisation. She’s also secured brand partnerships with prominent names such as Xbox, ID@Xbox, Samsung, Charlotte Tilbury, 2K Games, Virgin Media, Bethesda, and Sandbox Strategies.

Nothing Without Us

In September 2022, she helped establish Nothing Without Us (NWU), a non-profit organisation working to increase inclusion for disabled professionals and content creators within the UK gaming industry. She serves as Director and Head Organiser, and honestly, the organisation’s achievements are remarkable.

In 2024, less than two years after formation, Nothing Without Us won the Representation category at Gamescom’s Gaming Ohne Grenzen Awards. They were nominated again for the same category in 2025. The organisation has secured major sponsors, including Bethesda, Elgato, Playground Games, Xbox, and Plaion.

They organised the first UK Disability Pride Month stream featured on Twitch’s homepage, which generated nearly half a million impressions.

Mollie’s been vocal about the barriers disabled creators face. In March 2024, she wrote an article for Access-Ability UK titled “How Disabled Content Creators Are Getting Pushed Out of a Dream Job,” addressing issues around networking and convention attendance that often exclude disabled people from opportunities.

Her advocacy work caught mainstream attention in 2024 when Sky News featured her in a report on gaming accessibility. They interviewed her at Rebellion Studios in Oxford alongside representatives from SpecialEffect and Xbox, where she showed off gaming with Sniper Elite 5 while discussing her experiences living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

“I physically cannot leave the house everyday, so it’s a huge hobby for me,” she told Sky News. “I’ve made my best friend through gaming, and we hang out everyday online.”

PlayStation London Studio even sent her their Access controller ahead of release for accessibility testing. She’s consulted on AAA titles, including Forza Horizon 5, helping shape how major games approach accessibility.

She’s been featured on the “Psyched To Be With You” podcast (Season 4, Episode 7, June 2024), the She Plays Games podcast (Episode 102), BBC Teach’s interview on the Microbit programme, and Elgato’s Twitch channel for Disability Pride Month programming. She was also invited to the Women in Esports “Be the Change” summit.

Personal Life

Mollie describes herself as an “overly smiley disabled content creator,” and she’s been refreshingly open about living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). This connective tissue disorder causes chronic pain, motion sickness, and hand pain during gaming, which makes her gaming achievements all the more impressive.

A significant milestone came when she got her own wheelchair with an Empulse F35 motorised assist. She shared that it has “genuinely changed my life” by giving her greater independence as her health has progressively gotten worse.

Her distinctive permanently blue hair has become part of her personal brand, complemented by what she calls “Wednesday Addams kind of vibes” in her alt fashion style. It’s memorable, it’s her.

Mollie’s been in a relationship with Bryan Mejia (Instagram: @bryanwaitforit_mejia) since 2021. Bryan’s also a Twitch streamer, though his Instagram is private. In May 2024, Mollie posted about their “relationship glow up,” and from what she shares, they seem genuinely happy together.

Beyond her advocacy and streaming work, Mollie continues her illustration career through her portfolio website (mollieevans.com) and Etsy shop. She sells prints, stickers, and original artwork in her signature style.

Net Worth

Whilst Mollie’s exact net worth isn’t publicly available, her income comes from multiple streams: her full-time position at NNESAGA LTD, Twitch streaming revenue as an Affiliate, brand partnerships with companies like Xbox and Samsung, freelance content creation work, illustration sales through her Etsy shop and website, and her role directing Nothing Without Us.

Her father, Lee Evans, by contrast, has an estimated net worth of £30 to £40 million from his hugely successful comedy career. But Mollie’s building her own financial independence through her career portfolio.
