Ella was born in London, England on January 14, 2003. Her father, Eric Clapton, is a singer, and her mother, Mella McEnery, is a well-known socialist and activist.
She has two sisters, Julie Rosie Clapton and Sophie Belle Clapton, and she had a younger brother, Conor, who sadly passed away when he was only four. Ella is the middle child.
